When I hear of hate
Intolerance of another
When we divide
Hope seems to hide
A brother spurns a brother
Christian or Jew
Muslim or you
We only succeed together
Gay or straight
Eliminate hate
Find a way to weather
The divisions of press
Fake news and the rest
Be strong for the road ahead
For life will go on
For the right and the wrong
Choose love; don't be led
By words of confusion
And sad dissolution
Of friendships we could retain
Listen and hear
Be of good cheer
For we are all one and the same
