Artist's Description
Nothing is more beautiful than the connection between mother and child. As baby nurses, their eyes lock, their expression shine in love, and the baby grips mom's thumb.
Created from a photo taken at the 2015 "Go Topless" rally in Asheville, NC. Go Topless dot org promotes women's rights to go topless nationwide in places where men are allowed to do so. Equal rights extends to this issue. In Asheville, the matter is already law (women can go topless) but the rally is an opportunity to show this position in the comfort of like minded people.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
