In the morning hours, when the sun is still low in the sky, the right opportunities for photos like this are highly coveted. The sunshine lights up the Fall colors in the trees while the Linville River remains in contrasting shadow. I took the photo and then created a digital painting from it. This is a great piece for home, office, cabin, or almost anywhere.
