I love my home of Asheville, North Carolina. On any given day, you can find musicians of many kinds standing on the streets, sharing their talents, hoping you might drop a dollar or two in their guitar case. You might hear the blues, mountain music, bluegrass, gospel, country, or almost anything else.
I have created a new style of artwork that involves photography, drawing and sketching, painting, and other "secret ingredients." I hope y'all enjoy the art as I enjoy the music and the awesome place I live.
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others. He has had articles published in several of these magazines as well. Haldane's art is unique, created using cameras, software, digital tools, and/or paints. Haldane is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).
