Bearly Home
Why do people build a home
Pondered baby bear
In the woods where I roam
Where each of us could scare
The other one?
I like to search for fruits and nuts
But more and more
Build homes and huts
On forest floor
And make me run
Away
My roaming ground is getting small
Cried poor baby bear
I go to sleep in the Fall
And waken to find there
Another one
You put a collar ‘round my neck
And tags in both my ears
You say that I’m a nuisance, heck
But yours are not the only fears
I hear a gun
I hope that we resolve this
But I fear the worst ahead
When we bears will go amiss
Or find ourselves all dead
When it is done
