Buskers - people who entertain in the streets for free, asking only a donation from those who wish to give - are an integral part of life in many cities. Asheville, North Carolina is a place in the mountains where buskers thrive. This poster honors some of those who give to our community and draw in visitors from around the world.
About John Haldane
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others. He has had articles published in several of these magazines as well. Haldane's art is unique, created using cameras, software, digital tools, and/or paints. Haldane is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).
