The Asheville Mural Project, a program of the nonprofit Arts 2 People, is an amazing and beautiful part of what makes Asheville special. Producing outdoor murals is as much about problem solving as it is traditional artistic ability. It is like an outdoor museum with an obstacle course. John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others. He has had articles published in several of these magazines as well. Haldane's art is unique, created using cameras, software, digital tools, and/or paints. Haldane is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).
