Description

I shot this Japanese Iris in my yard where it bloomed on schedule in early June. The way to get a stunning photograph like this is to put a piece of colored fiber board behind the flower and then take a macro photo. I used a Canon 7D camera with a 100mm macro lens. A dark background in the sunlight made the flower really pop.
