Who Roy Croft really is or was, however, is unknown. The poem was first seen in 1936 - over 80 years ago. It is frequently used at weddings and anniversary events. It makes a terrific card or gift.
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines.
