Description
Lunaria Annua means "Honesty Annual" and is the name of this beautiful purple or pink wildflower. The flower sports many blooms, each with four petals, and grows around a foot high. Blossoms appear in March, April, and May. I took this photo in front of an old, gnarled tree in East Asheville, in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina.
Haldane Creative Art includes wonderful digital photography by John Haldane of Asheville, North Carolina.
