The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I love Art Deco, the movement that swept the world in the 1920s and 1930s. These symmetrical lines and shapes represent patterns from that movement. The silhouetted musicians add a modern twist to the piece.
