Description

This was created specifically for a show at the ZaPow Gallery in Asheville, NC. The show, titled "Tin to Plastic; The Toys That Made Us," features juried works of art from artists across the country (US). Any of us from the 1950s and 60s who grew up with Mr Potato Head probably made our own Picasso versions. I know I did.

A bit of trivia: Mr. Potato Head was the first toy ever advertised on television (1952).
