Here is another Mythological Scene inspired by Greek Mythology. Digitally painted. Took over 6 hours to make but I like it. A female Centaur wades in a shallow pool beneath some high waterfalls as the sun turns the sky red and orange.
Art like this is made starting with a sketch. Then I fill in lines and smooth rough spots. Coloring is done solid and then shaded using gradients and other tools in Photoshop. Finally, the colored image is painted using different software and brushes. All this is accomplished on a Wacom Cintiq monitor that allows me to put "pen to screen" just like pen to paper and brush to canvas. Isn't technology wonderful?
