Rainbows

At the end of the rainbow
Is a pot of gold
At least that’s the story
We’ve all been told

I’ve been chasing rainbows
Nearly all my days
I’ve never found a pot of gold
All that searching never pays

The rainbow’s end
Just keeps on movin’
And the story
Can’t be proven

So I’m gonna quit
And here I’m gonna sit
And watch the rainbow disappear
While I sip my glass of beer
