One of several rows of drummers who come to Pritchard Park in Asheville, NC every Friday night (weather permitting) for the famous Drum Circle. Drummers of all ages, races, economic condition, and political affiliation sit together and share in this amazing time of primitive beats and invigorating music. When the weather is really nice, hundreds of people come to play, dance, and just observe the spectacle. The Drum Circle is one of the signature events in Asheville.
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others. He has had articles published in several of these magazines as well. Haldane's art is unique, created using cameras, software, digital tools, and/or paints. Haldane is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).
