Artist's Description
One of the most wonderful places to take children in the Asheville, North Carolina area is the WNC Nature Center (https://www.facebook.com/WNCNatureCenter). From farm animals you can pet to mountains lions, wolves, bears, otters, snakes, and birds, there is something for everyone. A beautiful walk in the cool trees includes play areas for kids, too.
Here, three children peer into the songbird garden where Cardinals flash bright red, Chickadees sing, and even squirrels romp.
