Artist's Description

If you don't picture the devil as a cute female in bright colors, perhaps you haven't seen this incarnation. Photo taken at the Lexington Ave Arts and Fun Festival (LAAFF) in Asheville, NC. The street photography is converted into art through a series of manipulations in Photoshop using plugins, a Wacom pen monitor (Cintiq), and numerous brushes and tools I have created over the past 20 years.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others. He has had articles published in several of these magazines as well. Haldane's art is unique, created using cameras, software, digital tools, and/or paints. Haldane is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).
