Description
I am a street photographer. During the Summer of 2018, I specialized in Black and White candid head shots of people in Asheville, NC. This man sat on the wall adjoining Pritchard Park in downtown enjoying the drum circle sounds and a cool evening.
I captured his photo and then converted the B&W image using a threshold tool in Photoshop. This left just black black and white white - no grays. I then masked out the whites and touched up some areas to fill in black where I wanted the background. The image was completed with a gradient yellow and red to fill in where the white had been. The result is rather stunning, don't you think?

I like the mixture of color used for this one. Really adds fire where there is smoke. non pun intended. L/ F!
