Artist's Description
Whitewater Falls on the Whitewater River is the last river in the Jocassee Gorge area just before you reach South Carolina. It is reputedly the highest falls in the eastern United States. After heavy rains in Western North Carolina, it was truly living up to its name this July afternoon.
Won Staff Favorite Award in August, 2013.
About John Haldane
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
