Description
In a small clearing, deep in the woods of Western North Carolina, a fir tree stood alone and cold. "Does anyone know I am here," he wondered. "Does anyone care?" He went to sleep feeling sad. Came the morning, however, and the little tree discovered he had been visited by a miracle! Small lights twinkled all over him, making him warm and happy. "Merry Christmas, my woodland friends," he shouted. And indeed it was.
