Blue Ridge Afternoon: The Blue Ridge Parkway winds through North Carolina and Virginia, giving stunning views at every turn. Here, the late afternoon sun lights up the tall grass beside the curving road while the azaleas bloom.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina.
