This was a fun exercise in repeating patterns, layer styles, coloring, and impasto painting. This flower is made on a transparent background (white is the default) and looks great as a print or on any of the many choices you have here. Try it with different colors as the background! Comments are welcome. Creative abstracts are made by John Haldane of Asheville, NC.
About John Haldane
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
