A thumping rhythm is heard; a crowd gathers; drummers and percussionists of all kind play; dancers fill the park as onlookers watch; it must be Friday night in Asheville, North Carolina. This dancer is so into the beat of the drums that she dances "as if no one is watching" but in truth, a couple hundred people are seeing her sway to the spirit of the drums. This is another part of what is Uniquely Asheville.
