I went up to Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway East of Asheville, NC to see the sunset. It fogged in on us, as frequently happens at that elevations, so we didn't see what we hoped but I got some interesting photos anyway.
The sun here is shining through the fog with silhouetted branches in the foreground providing the framing. Shot with a Canon 7D Mark II and a 100-400mm lens at ISO 200, f/16, and 1/3000 sec exposure. Developed in Lightroom and Photoshop.
