An old man takes his dog for a walk in downtown Asheville. The youth of the puppy and the age of the man stand in contrast as do the colors of his shirt and markings on the dog. This scene is why I love street photography.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
