While visiting the Halifax Public Gardens, I took many photos of the beautiful flowers. Wanting to do something different, I turned this into a digital colored pencil drawing. The bright colors and muted greens are perfect to light up a room. It also makes a fascinating and difficult puzzle.
The Voyage of the Vikings on the Holland America (HAL) cruise ship, Zaandam, began and ended in Boston, Massachusetts. Highlights included Maine, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Netherlands, Ireland, and Scotland.
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines.
