Napoleon and the Rabbits
Napoleon, the great French General
Like to go hunt rabbits
When he wasn’t fighting wars
It was his favorite habit
So one day, his Chief of Staff
Arranged a hunting lunch
The Chief of Staff needed bunnies
So he had a hunch
He went to neighbors in nearby farms
And bought 3,000 hares
He locked them all in cages
To release with hunters there
The general came
He brought his gun
The rabbits were released
And then… they all began to run
The rabbits ran but not away
They attacked the great Frenchman
Napoleon, he fled that day
As attacking rabbits ran
If you think Waterloo
Was his worst defeatin’
This true story proves without a doubt
By bunnies he was beaten!
