Artist's Description
She set up a table beside Haywood Street, within earshot of the Drum Circle in Asheville. Passing people were invited to have their fortunes read for a donation of their choosing as vending is not allowed, but busking is. And so it was that I caught her reading Tarot cards for someone this September night. I hope their future is bright.
Haldane Creative Art includes candid street photography by John Haldane of Asheville, North Carolina. During the Summer of 2018, I specialized in Black and White candid head shots of people on the streets of Asheville, North Carolina. I used a Canon 7D Mark II camera and a 100-400mm lens, hand held, maintaining a safe distance to enable candid portraits.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
