I focus some of my art on street photography in Asheville, NC. I take the photographs and then create art from them. What is amazing to me is the amount of art on the streets that is just waiting to be captured and turned into a new creative piece. I love to ask people, "Do you know where this is?" Most do not know. We are surrounded by beauty every day but with noses in smart phones and minds on texting, we miss so much! That is why I am here. That is why this piece is for you.
John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines. The magazines include The Scenic, the Laurel of Asheville, The Writers & Artists Quarterly, COSTCO Magazine, Wild WNC News, Camera in the Wild Magazine, and others.
