Artist's Description
Photo taken at the Lexington Ave Arts and Fun Festival (LAAFF) in Asheville, NC. The street photography is converted into art through a series of manipulations in Photoshop using plugins, a Wacom pen monitor (Cintiq), and numerous brushes and tools I have created over the past 20 years. Here I imagined an Ent from the Lord of the Rings marching to Isengard.

John Haldane is a published professional artist living in Asheville, North Carolina. His artwork has been featured in fine art galleries in Arizona and North Carolina and in calendars, books, and magazines.
