Description

Haldane Creative Art includes candid street photography as well as digital manipulations in Photoshop by John Haldane of Asheville, North Carolina. During the Summer of 2018, I specialized in Black and White candid photos of people on the streets of Asheville, North Carolina.

I use many methods to create these artistic renderings, but the basic methods are to take a black and white image I have already developed from a candid street photo, change it to nearly solid black and white, do some touch up, add some color effects, and then "paint" digitally to get a desired result. It is more complex than that, but that is the general idea. After 24 years using Photoshop and with 8+ hours every day practicing, I love what I do.
