One of the most wonderful places to take children in the Asheville, North Carolina area is the WNC Nature Center (https://www.facebook.com/WNCNatureCenter). Here, three children peer into the songbird garden where Cardinals flash bright red, Chickadees sing, and even squirrels romp.
